The FAB project is also working with local actors, citizens, policy makers and value chain partners to embed FAB more widely into society, policy and markets. To help achieve this we have, among other things, written and launched an EU policy paper. In this policy paper we make seven policy recommendations to European policy makers.
These recommendations will support the uptake of FAB measures by farmers and establish the policy conditions necessary to realize the agricultural, ecological and societal benefits of FAB
If you want to read the policy paper or watch our policy event where we presented the EU policy paper in an online conference, go to our website.
Partners from five of the countries participating in the project (BE, NL, LUX, UK and FR) are currently working on national policy papers based on the recommendations of the EU policy paper. These national policy papers will also be presented at national policy events.
